Ohara-ryu Soka Online Lecture/Demonstration “Lotus”
The lotus produces beautiful flowers from the mud.
Its beauty has fascinated Japanese people since ancient times.
This time, the focus will be on the lotus and its fascination through ikebana.
Hiroki Ohara, Headmaster of the Ohara School of Ikebana, and Vice President Sachiko Suzuki, Council of Ohara Professors, will demonstrate Rimpa-cho ikebana, Shakei Moribana Shizen Honi and Bunjin-cho ikebana.
A detailed explanation of one variety arrangement of lotus in the Shakei Moribana Yoshiki Honi will be presented.
